About Us

Sonovia is an Israeli technology company engaged in impregnating textiles with value added properties. Sonovia’s patented technology replaces the polluting finishing process now prevalent in the textile industry with an environmentally-friendly ultrasonic process that is easy to integrate into existing production lines. The products maintain their performance over time, while the process itself preserves the environment.

Sonovia was founded in 2013 based on years of research at Bar Ilan University, applying the products of such research in commercial and industrial use. Sonovia’s first product for the general public was an anti-Covid mask using anti-microbial fabric. Hundreds of thousands of Sonovia’s masks have been sold worldwide, and have received rave reviews from customers.

Sonovia promotes its research & development and its collaborations with leading manufacturers in a number of fields, to produce waterproof fabrics, flame-retardant fabrics, odor proof fabrics, heat regulating fabrics, and more for elite fashion, athletic wear, and transport.

Sonovia has a products division for direct sale of products to customers, as well as a business division for the sale of its ultrasonic machine and green chemical compounds, tailored to manufacturers for integration into their production lines.

Recently, Sonovia signed an agreement with Delta to set up a Sonovia machine at Delta’s production site.
